OUR FEES
We offer a fixed fee mediation service. Mediations can take place with or without the assistance of the parties' lawyers.
Seaside Mediation is based in Warrnambool, South West Victoria. Currently, we offer remote mediation services across Australia (excluding WA). Appointments and mediations ordinarily take place via telephone or online. Face to face mediation sessions can be arranged for legally assisted mediations in South West Victoria, at a venue provided by your solicitor.

Pre-Mediation Intake Appointment
Cost: $300
Up to one hour duration.
Before mediation can go ahead, we are required to make an assessment about whether Family Dispute Resolution is suitable for your situation.
We will confidentially help you to explore your concerns and discuss what you are hoping to achieve before preparing you for the mediation process.
Charges include associated administrative work, review of reasonable documents, issuing of 60i Certificate where applicable and inviting your ex-partner to participate in mediation.
Costs relating to mediation are generally equally shared between the parties. Seaside Mediation is open to allow one party to pay the full cost of the mediation process if agreed. This will not impact on the impartiality of the mediator.
Payment is to be made at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Mediation
(up to 3.5 hours)
Cost: $900 per party
Your mediation will be facilitated by Nationally Accredited Mediator (NMAS accredited) and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Jessica, who will help you identify the issues in dispute and communicate your concerns and interests with the other party in order to support you to reach an agreement.
The cost of our mediation service is $900 per party ($1800 total). Charges include associated administrative work, review of reasonable documents, preparation for mediation, the mediation itself and issuing of 60i Certificate where applicable.
If your matter requires a full day (8 hours with one hour lunch break), this can also be accommodated at a cost of $1400 per party.
Seaside Mediation is open to one party paying the full cost of the mediation if agreed. This will not impact the impartiality of the mediator.
Payment is to be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled mediation.
